How many glasses of water do you drink in a day? To be healthy and full of life we should drink at least 1.5 - 2 litres a day - but do we?

Water is an essential part of the body. It represents about 60% of an adult's weight, and it is vital to keep the water content of the body up at this level.

Doctors and nutritionists recommended we drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Water helps to eliminate toxins from the body. By not drinking sufficient water we can become dehydrated. Drinking less water than our bodies require can lead to dehydration resulting in poor concentration, tiredness, irritability and headaches.
